With Al Shaw over at the Cafe giving directions now for how to transfer your blog there to elsewhere, it makes me think either they are certain they'll drop the archive of past TPM reader blogs - or else it's the total end of TPM reader blogs. Because this has never been offered before.
Obviously this is speculation on my part. Unless someone else has better information. But it's another sad chapter. Kind of them to provide this last chance to people to save and transfer blogs. But ominous nonetheless.

Given what Lis has written here, I've taken the liberty of adding a tab below the blog title. (See above.) A place to post info on how to find people. Info that people made public. Not info that was given privately, like in a personal email. Click on the tab. And since we all have editing privileges here, anyone can add info or edit it as needed.
If people see any problems with this, post that under this blog here. Since the page (above) does not allow for comments.

Moat swears his was the last comment
I gave him this

We need to write him and tell him we love him and we need him here!!!
the end
Definitely we must not lose moat!
Happy to have a new tab, TheraP. The reason why I've been giving administrative privileges to those I know is because this blog is ours, not mine. I see this as the opposite of what's being revealed as TPM philosophy...but that's my issue (shrug).
Moat drops into Mibbit and maybe some arm-twisting can be done there. I, too would hate to lose moat.
Mike, I simply 'KNEW' that it was ok. And thanks for your great trust in us!
Peace be with you. I think the tab looks lovely there!
Hey TheraP. I wouldn't make too much of TPMs intentions regarding the export feature. A few TPMers asked me about migrating their old posts to dag, so I put in a request to Josh, who said that he would make it possible as long as it didn't require too many development resources. He told me that he still hasn't decided about the future of the reader blogs.
Thanks for the info, Genghis.
What's most important is that Josh "still hasn't decided."
In my own life, when there has been a person who couldn't make up his mind about the future of a "relationship" I've made up my own mind! And moved on....
True, it's a bad sign when your partner suggests that the two of you take a break.
Either "take a break" or "I just can't make up my mind about us".
Amen all the way around. :-)
